Please review this policy carefully before confirming your reservation.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to the booking and cancellation terms stated below, together with any additional terms communicated at the time of booking.
Reservation Policy

To confirm a reservation at Residences On The Bay, guests are required to provide accurate booking information and complete all required reservation and check-in documentation.
A reservation is considered confirmed once the required payment or booking authorization has been received and the reservation has been acknowledged by Residences On The Bay.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate, including the number of guests, dates of stay, and contact information.
Security Deposit
A security deposit or credit-card authorization will be required prior to or upon check-in.
The security deposit may be used to cover damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or violations of the property's rules and policies.
Any applicable refundable balance will be returned following the inspection of the apartment after departure.
Payments
All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Please note that a mandatory Barbados Government Levy of 10% of the accommodation cost will be applied at check-out. This levy is separate from the accommodation rate and must be paid in accordance with applicable Barbados Government requirements.
Additional Policies of Residences On The Bay
Please use safe(s) in your apartment as Residences On the Bay will not be responsible for monies, jewelry, valuables, or personal effects lost or damaged on property.
There is a US$50.00 charge upon checkout for lost room keys and $200 charge for lost gate keys.
NO SMOKING is permitted in rooms, balconies/patios, or any covered areas of the property. Persons found smoking will be charged a US $250.00 recovery fee.
For safety and security, only guests listed and agreed upon prior to arrival will be permitted on the property unless prior approval has been obtained from management.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy provides guests with flexibility while helping Residences On The Bay manage reservations and minimize losses associated with last-minute cancellations.
Free Cancellation – 14 Days or More Before Arrival
Guests who cancel 14 days or more before their scheduled check-in date may cancel free of charge and receive a full refund of eligible amounts paid, subject to any non-refundable fees or charges disclosed at the time of booking.
Cancellation Deadline: For purposes of this policy, the cancellation period is calculated using calendar days before the scheduled check-in date. A cancellation must be received by Residences On The Bay no later than 5:00 p.m. Barbados local time on the applicable deadline date to qualify for that cancellation tier.
Cancellation Schedule
Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date will be subject to the following cancellation charges:

14 days or more before check-in - 0% – FREE CANCELLATION

13–8 days before check-in - 25% of total booking

7–2 days before check-in - 50% of total booking

1 day before check-in -100% of total booking

No-show - 100% of total booking – NON-REFUNDABLE
Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total booking value, excluding any amounts that are separately identified as non-refundable at the time of booking.
No-Shows
A guest who fails to arrive for their confirmed reservation without providing prior notice will be considered a no-show.
No-shows are 100% non-refundable. The full amount of the reservation may be retained by Residences On The Bay.
Special Circumstances
Residences On The Bay may, at its discretion, consider exceptions to the cancellation policy in cases involving serious or unforeseen circumstances. Supporting documentation may be requested.
Any exception is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not create an obligation to provide the same exception for future reservations.
Guest Acknowledgement
By making a reservation with Residences On The Bay, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the applicable booking, cancellation, and property policies.
Residences On The Bay reserves the right to amend its policies where necessary. The cancellation terms applicable to a reservation are those communicated to the guest at the time the reservation is confirmed.

Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are issued in accordance with the applicable Booking & Cancellation Policy of Residences On The Bay. The amount of any refund will depend on the cancellation date, booking terms, applicable cancellation charges, and any other conditions associated with the reservation.
Where a guest is entitled to a refund, Residences On The Bay will process the refund in accordance with this Refund Policy.
Method of Refund
All approved refunds will be made to the original payment method used to make the reservation.
Refunds will not ordinarily be issued through an alternative payment method or to a different person or account.
Payment Processing Fees
Where a refund is approved, the refunded amount will be less only the credit card, payment gateway, bank, or other financial processing fees that were actually incurred by Residences On The Bay and cannot be recovered.
Residences On The Bay will not deduct additional administrative or cancellation fees from an approved refund unless such charges are expressly stated in the applicable Booking & Cancellation Policy or agreed to by the guest.
Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved, Residences On The Bay will initiate the refund as promptly as reasonably practicable.
Please note that the time required for the refund to appear in the guest's account may vary depending on the payment provider, credit card company, bank, or other financial institution receiving the funds.
Residences On The Bay cannot guarantee the exact date on which a refunded amount will be credited to the guest's account, as processing times are determined by the recipient bank or payment provider.
Currency and Exchange Rates
Where applicable, refunds will be processed through the original payment method and may be subject to the applicable currency conversion and exchange-rate procedures of the guest's bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Any difference resulting from currency conversion or exchange-rate fluctuations is the responsibility of the guest and is outside the control of Residences On The Bay.
Refunds for Cancellations
Refunds resulting from a guest cancellation will be calculated according to the Booking & Cancellation Policy applicable to the reservation.
Unless otherwise stated in the booking terms:

14 or more days before the scheduled arrival date: Eligible for a full refund, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

8–14 days before arrival: A 25% cancellation charge applies; the remaining eligible amount may be refunded, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

2–7 days before arrival: A 50% cancellation charge applies; the remaining eligible amount may be refunded, less any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

1 day before arrival or a no-show: The booking is non-refundable, subject to any exceptions expressly approved by Residences On The Bay.
Early Departure
Guests who choose to check out before the scheduled departure date are not automatically entitled to a refund for unused nights.
Any refund or adjustment for an early departure will be considered at the discretion of Residences On The Bay and will depend on the circumstances and applicable booking terms.
Exceptional Circumstances
Residences On The Bay may, at its discretion, consider refund requests arising from exceptional or unforeseen circumstances. Any such consideration does not create an obligation to provide a refund and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
